Job Summary

Joseph of Cupertino Classical Academy is now seeking a faithful and talented teacher to fill a part-time role for the 2025-2026 academic year for a History Teacher. Joseph of Cupertino Classical Academy is located in beautiful Irvine, California at St. Thomas More parish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Utilize various teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing and feedback.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting respect and cooperation among students.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Those with a love for the language of the Church, the Catholic faith, and Catholic liberal education are encouraged to apply. This teaching position is for candidates with experience in instructing Classical U.S & Renaissance History curriculum. A Master’s or Ph.D degree is preferred.
