What we’re looking for…

  • Recent graduates with a degree related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Business, or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, strong organization, follow up and communication skills.

About the Position  Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of air import shipments including preparing documentation, data entry, tracing, billing, arranging deliveries, etc. 
  • Closely track and trace all international and domestic cargo movement to meet tight deadlines.
  • Maintains effective communication with internal and external parties through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and in-person interaction.
  • Generates and monitors reports daily.
  • Creates invoices to be processed for billing purposes.
  • Addresses internal and external inquiries and directs to the correct department if needed.

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 pm EST / Rotational Sunday OT required 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry

Salary

$55,000-$65,000 annually based on education and experience level.
