Essential Job Responsibilities: An apprentice electrician must have a high mechanical aptitude and be good with his or hands.Must be able to identify individual colors for safe wire identification.Must be able to follow directionsReliable attendance on all scheduled workdaysOther duties as assigned Personal Skills: Should be organized and analytical. Qualifications/Knowledge: Provide strength and stamina for occasional heavy lifting and flexibility.Ability to work safely from ladders, in all weather conditions.Ability to read blueprints a plus.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Work Environment: Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holidays and Peak days. TSVI is in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff. Physical Demands of Position Include: May work in dusty, dirty, hot, or wet and cold conditions, or confined areas, ditches, or other uncomfortable places. Electricians risk injury from electrical shock, falls and cuts; to avoid injuries, they must follow strict safety procedures. Background Check: Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check.
