The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing large-scale test systems that are essentially the bread boarded versions of the electronics that are installed on an airplane. The main goal of these systems is to verify the electrical design of the suite of electrical equipment that gets installed on an airplane before it ever gets built into an aircraft. Any of the design issues that are found and fixed in the lab translate to a huge downstream cost savings to the company and help make our products safe.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products
  • Develop detailed designs of limited scope
  • Conduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design
  • Gather data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis
  • Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
  • Conduct trade studies and literature research to support future product designs
  • Work under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 1+ years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in the use of computer aided design and simulation tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $85,850 – $116,150
