As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for repairing and fabricating wooden crates, as well as performing various tasks related to shipbuilding and repair. This includes working from detailed blueprints, operating electrical tools, and following instructions to ensure high-quality results.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Must be able to calculate and understand units of measure, including fractions and decimals
- Must know how to measure using a scale and tape measure
- Must be able to wear applicable PPE (Hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, steel toes shoes, ear protection, chaps if working with chainsaw, Tyvek suits and respirators when working with certain chemicals)

- 3-year experience in the trade/Ship Repair Industry
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Ability to work from detailed blueprints and follow instructions
- Experience operating electrical tools and power equipment
- Knowledge of shipbuilding and repair practices
- Ability to work with various materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality results
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $50565 - $55744
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
