GPAC has partnered with a well-established company in the Commercial Construction industry. Our client is seeking a talented and dedicated Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer , you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating project teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role.
Project Engineer Job Functions:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and manage project timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify any potential issues
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and change orders
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
Project Engineer Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in a project engineering role
- Proficient in interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of construction software and tools is a plus
- A passion for construction and a desire for continuous learning
