Summary
As a Diagnostic Technician at Delta Industries, Inc., you will be integral to maintaining our fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles. This role is vital in ensuring operational efficiency and safety, directly contributing to our mission of providing the best construction materials in the market.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles and heavy equipment to identify issues.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems effectively.
Operate heavy machinery safely while conducting repairs or maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding vehicle status.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a mechanic or diagnostic technician, preferably with heavy equipment or automotive experience.
Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
Familiarity with schematics and mechanical systems relevant to heavy machinery.
Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Basic understanding of hydraulics is a plus but not required.
