Job Title: Engineering Technician (Part-Time) - Tampa Radio

Position Overview

Tampa Radio has an opening for a great part-time Engineering/IT Assistant!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Becoming familiar with the technical layout and operations of the main operations facility at 4th Street Studio
• Working with staff members on routine troubleshooting and issue resolution covering a wide variety of technological applications including studio, mobile, desktop and server based
• applications
• Special project involvement, initiatives and project ownership
• Coordinating with our many vendors for regular and emergency site work and maintenance/repair
• Occasional travel to our 4 tower sites located throughout the Tampa Bay area for tech work or maintenance/repair and installation work
• Weekly updates on equipment and project status
• Some physical responsibilities may include being able to lift up to forty pounds, work on a ladder, use assorted hand and power tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Skill Set:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (11) and Microsoft Server systems
• Working knowledge of basic networking
• Working knowledge of telecommunications systems
• Working knowledge of mobile devices and tablets, including Apple iOS, Android and Windows Mobile
• Working knowledge/interest in audio/visual technology, including live HD web streaming, Live Sound, video production and Adobe usage is a plus
