Job Description

Opening in summer 2025, the Marriott properties at the Georgia National Fairgrounds are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for our Towneplace Suites and Fairfield by Marriott brands. This 129-room property is located on the Georgia National Fairgrounds. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, including guestrooms, public areas, and laundry services. This hands-on leadership role requires excellent organizational and team management skills, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping and laundry team, ensuring high morale and exceptional performance.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Manage scheduling, staff, and daily assignments to ensure coverage and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hotel standards, health regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest room amenities.
  • Collaborate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Monitor guest feedback and address any housekeeping-related concerns or complaints.
  • Develop and implement efficient housekeeping procedures and checklists.
  • Manage department budget, labor costs, and productivity metrics.
  • Train select members of your staff to become inspectors and supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping management experience in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and hotel industry standards.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
