Job Title:  Janitorial / Custodian Technician
Location:  West Palm Beach, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Various Shifts Available

Position Overview:

A & Associates is actively seeking a reliable and hardworking  Janitorial/Custodian Technician to support our facilities maintenance team. This role requires hands-on experience in commercial cleaning and floor care, including  buffing and waxing . The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, maintain a clean and safe environment, and be able to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of facilities, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
• Buff and wax floors to company and client standards
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs or replacements as needed
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in compliance with safety regulations
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience required
• Demonstrated experience in  buffing and waxing floors
• Must be able to  lift up to 50 lbs , bend, stoop, and  stand for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Must be able to work independently with  minimal supervision
• Excellent work ethic, dependability, and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
