Job Title : Enhanced Building Maintenance Team – High Reach Technician

Reports to : Enhanced Building Maintenance Team Supervisor 

Salary Level 6 : $60,588 Entry

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary : 

We are seeking a High Reach Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and service fixtures and surfaces above 12 feet. High reach surfaces and fixtures include but may not be limited to ceilings, registers, light fixtures, sprinkler heads, windows, ledges and other hard to reach locations throughout the public areas of the CPTC.

Scheduled hours will be centered around 3 rd  shift primarily with a need to adjust depending on requirements or needs.

Responsibilities:

The following is a list of duties and expectations within the role:

· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures without exception. 

· Clean and repair fixtures and surfaces above 12 feet that may include but may not be limited to ceilings, registers, light fixtures, sprinkler heads, windows, ledges and other hard to reach locations.

· Safely deploy and utilize equipment such as scaffolding, lifts, ladders, high reach vacuum cleaners, hand and power tools.

· Maintain work complete and service records. 

· Coordinate and prioritize workload with your supervisor. 

· Operation of forklift machinery.

· Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Basic electrical / mechanical experience preferred.

· Must be able to read and write English proficiently. 

· Minimum of 3 years of experience high reach surface cleaning and or light maintenance repair activities.

· Safely and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.

· Proficiency with high reach cleaning equipment, tools and techniques.

Working Conditions: 

· Must have a valid GA driver’s license and driving record void of recent major moving violations.

· Must successfully pass a background check for insurance and security processes. 

· Ability to lift to 75 pounds and handle a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies. 

· The majority of the workday is spent standing. 

· Some outdoor work can be required in all weather conditions. 

· Hazardous materials handling. 

· Early morning, and occasionally weekend, or holiday work as required. 

· Steel-toed shoes must be worn on duty. 

Additional Qualifications:

· Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting departmental goals. 

· Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, tenants, contractors, and AATC Staff. 

· Must be a team player and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
