Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and records management. This position offers a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail to grow their career in the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage job postings, review applications, and coordinate interview schedules with candidates.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
- Address employee inquiries about HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely manner.
- Organize and facilitate employee training sessions and development initiatives.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and support the open enrollment process.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies through regular audits and monitoring.
- Collaborate on employee engagement activities and support company-wide events.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including document preparation and reporting. Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role, internship, or similar administrative position.
- Familiarity with HR principles, employment laws, and best practices is beneficial.
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR systems like ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
