Position: Human Resources Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, performs office duties for the Human Resources Department, maintains personnel files in the department, verifies required certifications and licensures are appropriately input in HRIS. Provides administrative support to all functions in Human Resources. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting recruitment team and onboarding process including maintenance of personnel records in HRIS. 
  • Assists in processing new employee’s HR records, making identification badges, and making sure all employee documents are filed appropriately and timely.
  • Able to perform other job duties as assigned accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Promotes a safe work environment for the facility.

Qualifications

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. 
  2. Previous confidential office experience preferred
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Excellent organizational skills
  5. Ability to multi-task
  6. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors and others.
  • Ability to remain calm under stress
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions.
  • Bending, lifting (10-20 lbs.), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling
