Express is looking for a Journeyman Service Electrician for Residential Service Tech Work

Location: Lewiston, ID

Pay: $35.00 + DOE

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)

Express Employment is seeking a** **skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join a residential service-based team. This role focuses on residential and commercial service calls, troubleshooting, and delivering top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, control systems, and related equipment.

• Perform troubleshooting and service calls in both residential and commercial settings.

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and electrical codes to ensure compliance.

• Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and proven methods.

• Provide accurate estimates of labor, time, and materials for service work.

• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe working order.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and project managers.

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications - MUST HAVES

1. Current Journeyman Electrician License in Idaho and/or Washington (as applicable).

2. Minimum 4 years of electrical experience with a strong service background.

3. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

4. Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.

5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily.

6. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both residential and commercial systems.

• Proficiency in diagnosing complex electrical issues.

• Prior customer-facing service experience with strong professionalism.
