Landscape Architect/Landscape Designer
Position Type : Full-Time
Location : Syracuse, NY
Salary : $60,000–$80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Reports To : Partners

Position Summary

Luxus Group is seeking a skilled Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to take primary responsibility for delivering a full range of landscape architectural services, from project inception through post-occupancy. The Landscape Architect will serve as a key contact for project stakeholders, including owners, consultants, code officials, suppliers, and contractors.

• Document Checking and Coordination

• Bidding and Contract Negotiation
• Construction Phase Office Work
• Construction Phase Site Observation

• Project Management
• Client Relations

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• Job Knowledge : Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles and practices.
• Technical Proficiency : CADD proficiency required.
• Communication Skills : Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication abilities.
• Judgment : Ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve effectively.
• Flexibility : Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Productivity and Quality : Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with high-quality results.
• Client Relations : Strong interpersonal skills to maintain and build client relationships.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Licensed Landscape Architect preferred but not required.
• LEED™ certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience required; 5 years preferred.
• Construction experience is highly desirable.
• Portfolio and references required.
