We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Warehouse Operator to join this growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining warehouse machinery, while actively troubleshooting equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate plant equipment effectively Ability to start, operate and shut down and clean compounding lines and axillary equipment.
Set up and prepare materials, equipment, and paperwork for processing Comply with all quality standards
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and operating issues Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies Load and unload trucks as necessary
Operate forklift and other powered equipment Report incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisor Any and all other duties assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Operate material handling equipment – forklifts, pallet jacks etc.
Be able to lift heavy items on a regular basis, up to 50 lbs. Bending, twisting, climbing and overhead work as needed. Prolonged standing

Work self directed as needed
Strong organizational skills
Basic polymer knowledge
Previous experience in plastics manufacturing or 2 yr degree Previous experience in extrusion is a plus.
