Job Description

• Manage and align process control objectives and tasks to help resolve manufacturing challenges and lower production costs.
• Design equipment, material, and workstation layouts to illustrate how processes can be completed efficiently.
• Evaluate operation sequences, material flow, and layout information to detect inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and define manufacturing processes and labor standards to minimize waste of time, materials, and labor.
• Coordinate and lead training efforts.
• Create and maintain documentation for standard work procedures.
• Execute physical modifications to facility layouts.
• Design and construct plant updates, jigs, and fixtures as needed.

Education and/or Experience

•  Experience in production, optimization and training of manufacturing processes such as assembly, piping, and wiring
• Knowledge of technology and materials used in above processes
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP manufacturing software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products​​​​
• High School diploma and 6 years experience in manufacturing
• Associates Degree in Engineering preferred and 4 years experience in related manufacturing processes
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
