We are looking for students who are mature in their walk with the Lord and understand a commitment to Mission Arlington’s purpose, which is to reach people for Christ. Everything done here is for this reason alone. Summer missionaries work in 2 venues: teaching God’s word to children and youth in apartment churches, and working at the center organizing food, clothing, household items and furniture, and distributing those to individuals and families in need. Each summer missionary will be assigned to work with a Bible study leader for the summer. There will be on-the-job training as well as personal and spiritual support. You do not have to be an expert at teaching children, but you MUST be willing to learn and work hard! A humble, teachable, respectful attitude trumps skills or abilities. If you understand our mission and desire to be wholeheartedly invested, we hope you will choose to serve alongside us in Arlington!
