Job Description

Do you possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being the first point of contact at a firm? This global communications firm is seeking a professional with multitasking skills, genuine customer service spark, and checklist organization tactics. The Office Coordinator/Receptionist will facilitate a clean, organized and welcoming front office, collaborate across support staff and operational team needs, and provide strong gatekeeping via phone, email and in-person correspondence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage busy phone lines, greet guests, prepare correspondence, and serve as a general gatekeeper with the public.
  • Maintain a clean, professionally presented shared office space, including organizing conference rooms and stocking supplies.
  • Provide a full range of daily administrative support to the DC team while assisting the office manager with tasks such as mail and package sorting, special projects, planning corporate events, including but not limited to, lunches, team events, and visitor engagements.
  • Coordinate and prepare conference rooms and manage a busy conference room calendar.
  • Order office supplies and manage operational vendor relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Service-minded. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hospitality or client-driven environments, in a receptionist or similar role. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Articulate and welcoming. It’s essential that you possess strong communication skills and leave clients and staff with a positive impression.
