A warm and welcoming growing family in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a part-time backup nanny to support their child, age 2, on an as-needed basis. The family currently has a full-time nanny in place Monday through Friday, but due to changes in their caregiving coverage, they are looking for a dependable and experienced professional who can step in when needed.

This role offers a guaranteed 20 hours per month on a retainer basis, with flexibility depending on the family's schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent part-time hours with a kind and respectful household. Retired teachers are especially encouraged to apply!

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, variable hours as needed
• Schedule Will Be Given In Advance ( Monthly)
• Monthly Commitment: 20 guaranteed hours, with potential for more
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate: $25–$32/hour, based on experience ($500 and $640 per month)

Responsibilities:

• Provide as-needed backup care when the primary nanny is unavailable
• Engage children in age-appropriate, play-based activities
• Support with light child-related tasks such as meal/snack prep and tidying
• Follow household routines and collaborate with the full-time nanny and parents

Qualifications:

• Background in education, early childhood, or as a former teacher preferred
• Retired teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply!
• Reliable, calm, and organized, with a supportive and team-oriented attitude
• Great communicator
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Must have U.S. work authorization
• Provide 3-5 professional references
