Blue Hill Country Club is currently seeking a highly motivated experienced Prep Cook to be part of our company.



The Role:

• This position will have the opportunity to work in various stations on the cooking line during meal service as well as prepare food for banquets and other events.

Qualifications:

• Work indoors for the majority of the workday (fluorescent lights, HVAC system, solid surface flooring, normal heat, and cold conditions associated with a kitchen facility, normal kitchen noise levels).
• Lift objects of 35 pounds or less over the head.
• Move objects of 50 pounds or less.
• Standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

• Preparing ingredients: Washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.
• Measuring and assembling: Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and assembling ingredients according to recipes.
• Storing food: Storing food properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Cleaning: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Following guidelines: Following food safety and sanitation guidelines, and complying with nutrition guidelines.
• Labeling and stocking: Labeling and stocking ingredients.
• Assisting: Assisting line cooks and chefs as needed.
• Maintaining order: Maintaining an orderly, clean kitchen.
• 1+ years experience in a similar position.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Compensation: $20-$24/hr.
