Overview:
As a member of the Employee Lifecycle & Belonging team, you help shape people-focused strategies, initiatives, and partnerships. These efforts enhance the employee experience at the Co-op. Reporting to the Director of People Programs, you will implement and maximize talent programs and design and develop impactful solutions that support employees during key moments in the employee lifecycle. By using new and innovative talent management approaches, you will help create a dynamic and effective employee experience, prioritizing what matters most, and positively impacting employees and the business.
Responsibilities:
- Creates, implements, and optimizes effective Talent Management and people program initiatives and processes to achieve strategic business initiatives.
- Understands the main ideas of Human Centered Design (Design Thinking). Can use HCD to create and maintain solutions focused on end users.
- Manage multiple projects or programs concurrently, ensuring effective prioritization and execution to deliver critical initiatives.
- Supports a smooth employee experience in our key people processes. Identifies and implements ways to improve and update processes, including automation. Ensures governance, efficiency, standardization, and ease of use.
- Uses deep business knowledge to find issues and diagnose root causes. Provides insights, offers recommendations, and creates proactive solutions for key business goals through a people lens.
- Applies exceptional critical skills and attention to detail to understand complex problems and root causes. Leverages quantitative and qualitative data to develop insights, guide recommendations, and formulate solutions.
- Collaborates with HRBPs, HR COEs, Employee Relations, Legal, and business leaders. Helps facilitate organizational changes and responds to employee feedback on people processes.
- Embeds principles of REDI (Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) into program design and delivery.
- Collaborates with the Employee Lifecycle & Belonging team to create a consistent brand look and feel. Designs and delivers multi-modality assets as part of managing a larger experience design portfolio.
- Develop and deliver clear, compelling communications about employee experience programs. Use the right tone, voice, and key messages. Ensure employees and stakeholders feel informed and engaged through various communication channels.
- Evaluate people programming solutions based on the balanced mix of desirable solutions that are feasible, and viable to the business.
- Ensure tasks are completed and work is high quality. Support team members so the team delivers consistent, excellent results.
- Track the effectiveness of employee experience programs using key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular reports. Conduct surveys, focus groups, or other research to gather deeper insights into employee needs and feedback. Support data and insights with product health reports and impact analyses.
- Understands the co-op’s business and the marketplace. Ensures people programs connect to business outcomes and the co-op’s branding.
- Thinks creatively by looking outside the HR division. Learns leading-edge design and program management practices within the co-op and other organizations.

- Compliance & Governance: Establishes and maintains governance structures for program oversight and delivery, and program integration into the wider ecosystem.
- Facilitation: Ability to effectively facilitate group discussions and create inclusive environments for diverse input and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Consulting & collaboration – skilled at consulting with a wide variety of partner types and navigating unchartered territory.
- Program management: Ability to manage multiple programs and projects at the same time, from start to finish. Create and execute project plans, ensure timely delivery of milestones, keep stakeholders informed of progress, and execute change management initiatives.
- Data Analysis and Measurement: Can leverage quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate program performance, generate insights, create visualizations, and enable informed decision making. Able to spot patterns and needs and use data to product program health reports.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder engagement: Ability to build exceptional working relationships and work well with all levels of the organization. This includes remote areas and field environments to drive stakeholder alignment.
- Proactive and self-directed with ability to manage/complete multiple projects with contending deadlines.
- Experience developing and managing programs across the employee lifecycle.
- Communications: Excellent oral and written communication skills, and must be comfortable engaging with senior executives, developing communication plans, and company-wide messages that are clear and concise. These communications drive people-focused outcomes and increase understanding of program benefits. They reach diverse audiences, including executives and hourly employees, and support key success metrics.
- Knowledge or experience with core Talent Management programs including performance management, promotions, succession, career development, mobility and learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5+ years experience or Masters in HR/Industrial Psychology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Sharepoint, Copilot, Spark, Canva, or other graphic design tools.

Base Pay Range:
$85,400.00 - $136,700.00 per year
