This position reports to

Quality Engineer / Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Provide ongoing quality support to employees and managers, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate on quality projects to align with and advance the goals and strategies of the Corporate Quality team.
• Assist in various quality functions, including support at manufacturing sites, corporate audits, customer issue resolution, and process standardization.
• Prepare and revise quality documentation to ensure accurate representation of processes and procedures.

Qualifications For The Role

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, engineering technology, math, or related fields in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
