Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Shafter, CA
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 per year (DOE)
Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take the next step in your career? Key Staffing is partnering with a confidential, industry-leading grower/packer/shipper of fresh produce to find a Senior Staff Accountant to join their expanding team in Shafter, CA .

What You'll Do:
Oversee all accounting and reporting functions related to production and daily accounting processes
Prepare and review financial reports, ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Collaborate with internal departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Analyze and report on key financial metrics to support operational decision-making
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of agricultural accounting experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
Preferred Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in agricultural or farm accounting
Cost accounting experience
Familiarity with SQL-based databases and BI tools (e.g., Tableau or equivalent)
