Role Overview

As a Technical Content Writer , you’ll play a critical role in scaling Harvey’s customer education efforts. Reporting to the Head of User Operations, you will develop structured, high-impact learning materials that empower professionals to master Harvey independently. Your work will drive product adoption, reduce support volume, and enhance overall customer success.

We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of instructional design, technical writing, and content strategy—someone who can translate complexity into clarity and create scalable resources that support professionals at every stage of their Harvey experience.

This role is open to candidates in New York City, San Francisco, or remote workers who are located in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) to ensure optimal collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain self-help documentation to help customers navigate Harvey with confidence

  • Own and expand the Help Center, ensuring resources stay current with evolving product capabilities

  • Create high-impact education initiatives that streamline onboarding, accelerate mastery, and drive long-term customer success.

  • Work closely with Product and User Operations to automate knowledge delivery and reduce support dependency

  • Analyze user engagement and feedback to continuously refine and improve educational content

What You Have 

  • 3+ years in technical writing, customer education, or instructional design

  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise content

  • Experience with content management systems, knowledge bases, and education platforms, with a focus on leveraging AI-driven tools for efficiency and scalability

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning psychology

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt content for multiple audiences and skill levels

  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics to optimize content effectiveness

Compensation

$95K – $115K • Offers Equity

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. Benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO.
