Job Description

RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are looking for a Welder in Houston, Texas, 77073 . This offers $22/hr, with an initial contract duration of 12 months and a potential renewal. In this role, you will work independently and as part of a dedicated repair team, applying high-quality TIG and MIG welding techniques to restore and enhance critical industrial equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and confident in interpreting engineering drawings while meeting strict production schedules. Flexibility to transition between first and second shifts is required - APPLY NOW!

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities  

• Perform visual and in-process welding inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality standards. 
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair specifications, and weld procedures. 
• Complete cladding and overlay work using TIG & MIG welding methods. 
• Set up, prep, and weld components following established weld parameters. 
• Grind, smooth, and finish repaired components as needed. 
• Strictly adhere to Company Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures. 

Qualifications  

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Advanced degree may substitute for experience. 
• 7+ years of professional welding experience. 
• Strong experience with foot-control TIG and MIG welding machines. 
• Preferred experience using SMAW & GMAW welding processes. 
• Experience performing manual TIG welding on precision components. 
• Ability to work across shifts as production needs to change.
