Job Description

NO CDL Required.

A light-Duty Wrecker Driver is responsible for towing trucks/trailers back to shops for repairs or otherwise. May also help with driving customer’s vehicles for pick up and drop off locally, and helping out in the shop during down time with cleaning or inventory as assigned.

This is an overnight position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Arrive to work daily on time and in work attire.
• Must be able to work (On-Call) when needed.
• Must be self-motivated and have general problem-solving skills.
• Must maintain cleanliness of company vehicles.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Must have the ability to drive in all types of weather conditions (Operate vehicles in a safe manner).
• Ability to work outside your comfort zone in challenging situations when necessary.

Education & Training:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver’s License with Tow Endorsement.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Basic knowledge of the automotive industry.
• Previous Towing experience is a plus but not required.
• Mechanical experience is a plus.
